Gareth Nyadoro è nato a Bikita, Zimbawe, nel 1982; attualmente vive e lavora ad Harare. Ha studiato Fine Art alla Harare Polytechnic School e successivamente ha portato avanti i suoi studi in Creative Arts and Design Chinhoyi University of Technology in Zimbabwe.

Nel 2014 ha fatto parte del programma di residenza per artisti della Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten di Amsterdam, l'anno successivo è stato incluso nel padiglione dello Zimbawe della 56esima Biennale di Venezia. Nyadoro è stato il destinatario del FT/OppenheimerFund Emerging Voices Art Award, e la sua prima mostra personale in un'istituzione europea, Stall (s) of Fame, si è tenuta al Palais De Tokyo di Parigi, nel 2017.

Nel 2018 è stata presentata la sua mostra ...Read all about alla Van Doreen Waxter Gallery di New York, e nel 2019 ha presentato la mostra personale Juggling Skills alla SMAC Gallery di Johannesburg. In questa occasione è stato pubblicato il primo catalogo dedicato al suo lavoro.

Il suo lavoro è stato incluso nella collettiva Five Bhobh: Painting at the End of an Era presso il Zeitz MOCAA a Cape Town nel 2019.

Le sue opere sono presenti in numerose collezioni, tra cui The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), New York; Fundacao Sindika Dokolo, Luanda; The Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa (MOCAA), Cape Town e The National Gallery of Zimbabwe, Harare.
