Osart Gallery announces that the group show CrossWords. Works from the Panza Collection is extended until Saturday, March 9th on the occasion of the eighth edition of Milano MuseoCity, supported by the Milan Municipality in collaboration with Associazione MuseoCity ETS that will take place from Friday, March 1st until Tuesday, March 5th.
The gallery works together with the Archivio Vincenzo Agnetti by hosting the artwork Ritratto di ignoto (1971). This collaboration stands within the project Musei in Galleria to create a cultural exchange and strengthen the concept of widespread museum.
The work belongs to the Ritratti series, in which Agnetti paints different characters on felt through blunt or poetic sentences, and interacts with the works from the Panza collection displayed at the Osart Gallery. All the pieces on view are indeed united by a particular attention to words, both as a means of communication and as an object of investigation.
During the event, on Friday 1st, Saturday 2nd, Sunday 3rd, Monday 4th and Tuesday 5th the gallery will be open from 10:30 am to 7:00 pm, non-stop.
